PENDANT-RESPUN-ALUMINIUM

ReSPUN signifies the first in a series of explorations in to the principles of creating new products from redundant industrial tooling. These masses of metal are given a new purpose through the reinvention of application, material and finish. Each form is a by product of an industrial component that has been chosen and refined for its purity in geometric form, simplicity of production and atypical scale within a lighting context. The use of thin walled aluminium allows for a super light shade to be produced that can be easily suspended.
